KEN HACKE ARTS
I designed this sculpture as a reminder that, although the world around us may be burning, we have the choice to remain calm. This piece depicts a ball of fire with a woman calmly meditating inside. My goal was to remind us all that we have the power to remain at peace while under pressure.
It is made out of 24 radial slices of acrylic creating two sculptures in one dynamic installation. The outside edges form the ball of fire, and hiding inside the fire is a peaceful meditator.
